Weekly What To Do: Going To Coachella, Maybe Stay There

Vidiots
$13.00

Vidiots welcomes back our found footage besties Museum of Home Video with an event they like to call “the Super Bowl for moviegoers”.  *Every* movie is fascinating for its first five minutes: that brief moment before it either hooks you or loses you.  For the 5 Minutes Game, we’ve lined up ten unpredictable movies you’ve never seen or heard of.  We’ll watch the first five minutes of each — and then you, the audience votes on what we’ll watch in full.  If you think you’ve uncovered all the strange videos left to discover, think again!

This event is co-hosted / co-curated by Josh Miller (co-screenwriter of Violent Night and the Sonic The Hedgehog movie franchise!)

Art for Everybody director Miranda Yousef; producer Tim Rummel; artist Jeffrey Vallance; and Susan Orlean, writer and Art for Everybody interviewee, will participate in a Q&A after the April 17 screening at the Laemmle NoHo. Diane Becker will moderate.

Thomas Kinkade’s pastoral landscapes made him the most collected painter of all time -- and the most despised. Following his shocking death, his family discovers a vault of never-before-seen paintings that upend his entire image, revealing a
complex, multifaceted American artist.

Seriously, shouldn’t the adults be handling this? And it’s a musical!

Come watch your favorite car-driving gang members battle their greatest foe yet-- singing and dancing at the same time.

In this unauthorized parody that is in no way connected to the very profitable Universal property, Dominic Toretto and his team (The Rock, Tyrese, Michelle Rodriguez, and Ludacris) do what they do best: commit crimes. And what they do second best: solve crimes. And what they do third best: harmonize.

Join Dominic on an existential journey inward where he confronts life’s hard questions: What does it mean to be a good person? Does the rightness or wrongness of an action depend on its consequence, or whether it fulfills the categorical imperative? Why can’t you marry a car?

Blood on the Clocktower: Live! turns the world’s greatest social deduction board game into a chaotic comedy show. Watch comedians put their manipulation and bluffing skills to the test. Trapped in Ravenswood Bluff on teams of good and evil, they are left to figure out who is who.

The audience, on the other hand, knows every performer’s secret identity. As the game unfolds, unscripted (and likely unhinged), they'll see if the Demon can get away with their lies.
