This is a big deal for movie lovers as Criterion is known for being the absolute best in home media. It'san honor among directors to be featured in the collection that has films from all studios and all genres. Criterion gets the best quality of film for home viewing and crams as many extras as they can with it. And, it's not always highbrow or artsy, they've got Godzilla & Wall-E in there. What they're known for is getting it to you with quality.
Being in the Criterion Closet is like a dream come true, seeing countless amazing films and looking at all of their specially made wonderful covers. It's like being trapped in a panic attack of pure cinema.
"Stocked with more than 1,000 of the greatest films from around the world, the Criterion Closet may offer more cinematic inspiration per square foot than any other place on the planet. We adjusted it over here at Things To Do In LA for our own sad screenings in tune with the perfect time of year known for the sad look of "June Gloom." A weather phenomena that only SoCal gets. It's a perfect name for watching sad-as-f**k movies too.
As the name suggests, the films are all sad and depressing. The mobile closet visits
