The enigmatic, sexually fluid stranger introduces himself to a bourgeois, upper class family. He is invited to stay on as an employee. The Visitor soon seduces each member of the family in a series of explicit sexual encounters. He will turn their world upside down as they are able to redefine themselves in new, radical ways.
 

ArtNight Pasadena  Spring 2025

ArtNight is Pasadena’s signature cultural event. Produced by the Cultural Affairs Division in partnership with Pasadena cultural organizations, it is a dynamic arts and cultural open house--showcasing visual arts, literary arts, dance, music, and theater--that takes place on a Friday in March and October from 6:00-10:00pm at sites all around Pasadena. Participating Partner organizations vary from event to event and include many of the 30 cultural venues listed below; all provide free entry during ArtNight. Smaller organizations and ensembles are invited to apply for MiniGrants to perform at Partner venues.

Downtown Los Angeles’ Corey Helford Gallery (CHG) is proud to announce its next major solo show. Or You Could Panic, featuring new works from British contemporary figurative artist Ben Ashton, is set to premiere March 15th in Gallery 2. LAUNCH LA presents Body Heat, the newest collection from David Otis Johnson, featuring captivating neon sculptures and text-based works that interrogate our longing for connection and the pervasive influence of consumer culture.

Central to the exhibition are sculptural forms where the human figure is reimagined through neon light, merging the organic with the industrial. These illuminated works explore the intersection of light, space, and identity, offering a poignant reflection on how we shape and are shaped by the world around us.
