On Wednesday, January 29th, IHEARTCOMIX, BROWNIES & LEMONADE, ANOTHER PLANET ENTERTAINMENT & TERAGRAM will present the 7th edition of LA GIVES BACK fundraiser at The Bellwether featuring a staggering line-up of Los Angeles’ most prominent promoters and labels, all coming together under one roof. This time, LA GIVES BACK: FIRE RELIEF will rally the Los Angeles independent music community to raise funds for charities that support fire victims, first responders, and animals who need help due to the devastating and fatal Los Angeles wildfires. 100% of the funds raised will go to local charities.

The FireAid benefit concert will be held at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum on January 30th dedicated to rebuilding communities that have been devastated by wildfires. Contributions made to FireAid in connection with the FireAid benefit concert and other direct donations will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation and will be distributed for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California.

The largest motion design festival in the world comes to Downtown Los Angeles for two weeks with work presented alongside Digital Witness: Revolutions in Design, Photography, and Film.

During this two-week celebration of the immense aesthetic impact of digital manipulation tools on arts and society, watch a specially curated selection of the motion design works from DEMO Festival 2025. The presentation is on view daily from Thursday, January 30, through Friday, February 14, 6 am to 2 am, on the giant Marriott LA Live display at the intersection of Olympic Blvd. and Francisco St. in Downtown Los Angeles.

ALL MY FRIENDS KNOW DARKNESS, by trailblazing multidisciplinary artist HERA of Herakut, formerly one-half of the internationally acclaimed graffiti and street art duo from Germany, and Los Angeles-based Asian-American, Hapa painter and muralist Lauren YS.
 
PERSEVERANCE: 20 Years of Thinkspace, which is the fifth collaboration between Brand Library & Art Center and Thinkspace Projects, will be on view February 1 – March 29, 2025. Artists featured in the exhibition will be present at the opening reception on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

PERSEVERANCE serves to pay tribute to all the creatives Thinkspace has worked with over the last two decades and features a diverse mix of artists on the gallery’s current roster alongside some longtime gallery favorites and a look forward with fresh new talent that will be inspiring us for years to come.
 
The XOXO, Alamo screenings series kicks off on February 1st and runs through the 23rd.
