It was hard to not think this book came out in the 90's. We had no idea the writer behind Game of Thrones didn't have an entire other series based on cards and getting super powers from aliens. George R. R. Martin Presents Wild Cards: Pairing Up straight up looks like it belongs in the old scholastic two-pager guide you use to get from school.This parody looks almost too real and being on MAX it's just too ironic. The Franchise is making fun of so many other long held franchises as it parodies the cast and crew on another long running super hero sci-fi franchise of it's own. Out Oct 6th.
