Button Mash is closing its doors on Sept 29th. The bar/arcade is closing up due to rent and exceedingly higher costs to run a restaurant.
One thing is the food and ambience is/was way better then the bar/arcade on 5684 York Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90042, near Galco's Soda Pop Stop. A franchised arcade bar out of New York, not really an LA based placed. It's got some good units. But, for some reason, the last few times friends and I have checked it out, it's always got a sort of unfriendly community/people vibe. And, the food has never been good. You're not gonna get food as good as Button Mash's Poltergeist.
