I Survived a Marathon of Zack Snyder’s Unrated ‘Rebel Moon’ — But Still Can’t Tell You Why It Exists
You should read Pete Debruge's hilarious account of the "new" Rebel Moon films recently released to Netflix and his time at the LA special screening. Two of my favorite excerpts from his piece below. I agree with all his takes. If you haven't seen the original, it's still Seven Samurai, albeit made for the SyFy Channel. Enjoy Space Mexico, Space Ireland and Space Japan too as their is no originality in this film whatsoever.
"I’ve never seen a line for the men’s room at the American Cinématheque as long as the one that confronted me at intermission of the marathon screening of Zack Snyder’s “Rebel Moon” this weekend. (Keep in mind, by that point, the crowd had been holding its collective bladder for three and a half hours, with the second half still to come.)"
"To be clear, I did not come to this event as a fan. I came as a “cinemasochist,” which is to say, someone who takes pleasure — although “pride” would probably be more apt — in sitting through long and arduous movies."
That’s right - we’re bringing @dayofthedevs to @fantasticfest!!!

Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip is out now on Steam with a 10/10 rating as we write this. We've played a little of it and it's a funny game you could get through while stuck inside from the heat.
