In the early days of cinema, buffoonery found its place on the silver screen, bringing laughter and joy to audiences worldwide. In exploring these films, it becomes evident that buffoonery is a versatile and enduring element of cinema. Whether through silent comedians, slapstick legends, or modern-day stars, the art of making audiences laugh through the absurd and the comical has left an indelible mark on the history of film. These cinematic buffoons continue to bring joy to audiences, proving that laughter is indeed timeless.

In partnership with Cinematic Void, we're once again hosting weekly presentations of the most decadent and delicious of all horror sub-genres: the mighty Giallo. Featuring TORSO with director Sergio Martino in person, a 35MM screening of HOUSE OF PSYCHOTIC WOMEN on New Year's Day, and more!

This screening series considers natural disasters through our planet’s primary elements—earth, wind, water, and fire—and seeks to highlight key moments in the history of the disaster film genre as a source of entertainment and portrayal of science, and as a tool to raise our collective consciousness about science-based solutions to the mounting global climate crisis. Discussions with noted scientists will follow select screenings.

This Sunday, January 7, 2024, marks the last day guests will get to ride the Camp Snoopy classic, Huff and Puff. To commemorate the event, guests can “earn” their Huff and Puff Last Ride merit badge. This will be the first badge in a series of limited-edition merit badges that guests can earn leading up to the opening day of the reimagined Camp Snoopy this summer. The badges are exclusive to guests only on January 7 and only while supplies last.
Originally opening in 1983, Huff and Puff has delighted little campers for decades. This one-of-a-kind ride system sends little campers chugging along the track at the speed of their own strength. This summer, Camp Snoopy will be reimagined to allow campers of all ages to become full-fledged Beagle Scouts as they explore new rides, new character experiences, new entertainment, a new dining hall, a new camp store, plus more seating and ambiance.
Every month leading up to the reveal of the new Camp Snoopy, guests can collect their limited-edition merit badges. Each special date will be announced on Knott’s Berry Farm social media channels a few days ahead of the giveaway.
