Sad news indeed as the iconic Cartoon Network Studios Burbank building is going away. The building's been home to some of Cartoon Network's greatest hits including Adventure Time. It's another part of Warner Bros and Discovery merger that solidifies the company under one banner. It all goes under Warner Bros animation. So, everyone has to get out by August 1st, 2023.
You could usually spot it not too far from the Burbank Mall.
From an animation fan standpoint it doesn't invoke a great sense of loyalty or that the company values Cartoon Network that much.
The staff is supposedly moving into Warner Bros Animation Studios new digs.
What that place did was give animators a home and a place that mattered to them. This sure ain't gonna boost morale at Cartoon Network.
