On Thursday, September 15, fans from all over the Los Angeles metro area can leap back in time and pay like it’s 1985 with Quantum Leap Day, an experience that celebrates the forthcoming series premiere of “Quantum Leap” on NBC and streaming next day on Peacock. Quantum Leap Day transports consumers back to 1985, the backdrop for the pilot episode of the series premiere, with a drive-through experience followed by the opportunity to get gas for .91 cents a gallon - the average price of gasoline in 1985, while supplies last. The same day, “Quantum Leap” is teaming up with Fandango offering moviegoers the chance to purchase a movie ticket online for the 1985-style price of $3.55 while supplies last.

This year’s Dino Fest is a one-day festival celebrating dinosaurs, their prehistoric past, and the science that brings their world back to life. Meet world-renowned paleontologists from the Museum as they discuss historic and ongoing fossil discoveries from around the world. Visit exhibitors for dinosaur-inspired merchandise, and catch a glimpse of rare specimens from the Museum’s collections, dig into hands-on activities, explore our world renowned Dino Hall with the world’s only T. rex growth series, and so much more.
Our seasonal Spider Pavilion (only on view in the fall) is a one-of-a-kind experience. Stroll through the open air pavilion to see hundreds of orb weavers and their amazing webs all around you. Then enter the spider den to peer into enclosed habitats that house different species from tarantulas to jumping spiders. Along the way you'll hear amazing stories and get answers to all your arachnid questions from our Museum Educators.
