The Palm Springs 70mm Getaway Film Festival will have three special showings: 2001, Lawrence of Arabia and West Side Story. And there's going to be after-parties to go with two of the films at classic Palm Springs venues.

This one has a lot going for it, like how it'll be totally fine to dress like a cowboy or cowgirl. And then you have the pie fight, which better be a real pie fight no some sissy token pie fight with fake pies. If you're in for a real fight to get cream and laugh, this better be it.
Also, western shorts will look better out in the desert.
Hoo-boy, this one will be a lot of fun.
Some highlights:
An American Tail: Fievel Goes West ("30ish" Anniversary)
Memberin' Monte Hellman: His Acid Westerns with Jack Nicholson

In late June, you have the 28th Palm Springs International ShortFest. From June 21-27 screenings will be at the Camelot Theatres (Palm Springs Cultural Center. Apparently, the Best of Fest films will also be available to watch virtually after the fest.
We'll be updating you with news on what's playing at the shortsfest and hopefully our favorite of horror shorts has a nice selection this year.
