With Covid restrictions being lifted, though it looks like you'll need to be vaccinated to see these, comedy festivals are coming back to town. Netflix is going all in this Late April, Early May with a huge one.
"Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival is the first ever LIVE Netflix Comedy Festival, April 28 - May 8. We’re pulling out all the stops and taking over LA with all your favorite funny people. We’re talking standup, podcasts, exclusive screenings, and more! Get off the couch ‘cause you’re not in front of the TV anymore -- you’re watching LIVE comedy in LA, baby! HOLLYWOOD! 100+ shows. 25+ venues. Plenty of traffic."
We're warning you know as some shows have already sold out, hopefully they add more. But, you should go threw the huge list of comedians and grab seats now. And even the women we thought had died, Wanda Sykes is apparently alive and doing stand up at it too.
Another heads up for a few months down the line...
A furry free-for-all of a horror marathon -- an arkful of angry animals here to clear the decks of humanity!
After centuries of pollution and arrogance, it’s about time we’re taken out by Mother Nature. As such, these six mystery feature films are stocked to the gills with critters ready to unleash a bounty of guiltless killing. So root for the rooster and rally for the rodents, as bands of measly sapiens fend off creatures big and small -- and bigger!
Imagine if they served liquor at libraries. Next best thing is Catcher in the Rye bar in Toluca Lake, which recently reopened after it looked like it might not make it. Grab yourself a Clockwork Orange beverage while reading said book, or perhaps a Tequila Mockingbird. pic.twitter.com/TN9whihk7h
