We've been waiting on this one coming from the horror team of Radio Silence we get an all new Scream. Is it a reboot or a sequel, it's probably both and dumb it's not just called Scream 5. But it brings back the original cast and the same voice of Ghostface on the phone. Are we worried it's a movie coming out in January. Oh, yeah, but with the people behind it, we'll give it a stab, we mean shot.

We already have our second Anime Convention of the year. ANIME Impulse is happening and it part of the Asian American Expo. So, Anime Impulse will be devoted to the Otaku/gamer stuff and the rest of the fest will be Asian culture in general. Looks like a heavy amount of it will be food related. I will be amazed if they actually allow the eating contest in this climate. Overall seems like a much needed day out, just be careful as per usual and no you ain't getting in without proof of vax or negative test.
Yes, there is a maid cafe and lost of famous cosplayers.

It looks like a modern take on Beauty on the Beast, but set in a sci-fi anime.
From the celebrated Academy Award®-nominated director Mamoru Hosoda and Studio Chizu, creators of Mirai, Wolf Children, Summer Wars,
and more, comes a fantastical, heartfelt story of growing up in the age
of social media. Suzu is a shy, everyday high school student living in a
rural village. For years, she has only been a shadow of herself. But
when she enters “U”, a massive virtual world, she escapes into her
online persona as Belle, a gorgeous and globally-beloved singer. One
day, her concert is interrupted by a monstrous creature chased by
vigilantes. As their hunt escalates, Suzu embarks on an emotional and
epic quest to uncover the identity of this mysterious “beast” and to
discover her true self in a world where you can be anyone
