Coming this January, you can re-see or see for the first time, Nightmare Alley from Guillermo del Toro. /Film is reporting you can catch the film at
"Quentin Tarantino's New Beverly Cinema is one L.A. venue that will be showing "Vision in Darkness and Light" on January 15 and 16, 2022. At the AMC Grove and The Landmark theaters, it will be showing from January 14 to 20, 2022. It will also have a limited engagement at The Los Feliz Theater, American Cinematheque, from January 21 through 23, 2022."
Once again, you can see a Black and White version of a film that wasn't intended to be shown that way. Why does it happen? It makes the film more money and it adds a false prestige about the film. It's be done with Mad Max: Fury Road and Parasyte, and in all new cases it was never the director's intention, but they go their okay on releasing it that way.
