We just watched the fourth VHS film, V/H/S/94 and it's TOTALLY 90's found footage horror. They brought some of the writers and directors from the first 2 and their distinct creepy and crazy style comes through of every frame. It's a must this Halloween season. Get the Shudder streaming service to see it, it's the only way to right now.
What looks like VHS Viral (that's not a compliment) is the utterly pathetic Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City trailer. The trailer makes it look cheap, boring and something totally forgettable. Sony seems to have no hope for the movie doing well as it comes out this November?
Sony you made six films already, was there a clamoring for a seventh?
We don't enjoy being negative about this. We want there to be good Resident Evil films, but director Johannes Roberts isn't a great choice and many might argue that zombies are coming out of fashion unless having a new twist. Why not even cover the latest Resident Evil game set in a spooky village?
