Phantasy Arcade Preview Southpaw

 

It's almost December and the folks over at Gallery Nucleus are having a fun video game arcade show that month. Phantasy Arcade has twenty and some change artists showing off original video games that they made up on 1/6th the size of regular arcade cabinets. It's sure to be a feature on Boing Boing or Reddit for a minute.

You know we love gaming here and assistant curator Braeden W. was nice enough to show off one of the cabinets in the upcoming show. This preview piece was created by Ben Zhu and titled "Southpaw." 

Prices for each piece are up in the air, but will probably be between $275 - $350 with limited editions of 15. But, this can all change before the show opening Dec 12th. And you could always get the papercraft version of each piece. This might be a perfect gift for the holidays, something to put on your desk at home.

• Only 30 people will be admitted into the GALLERY at a time. 
• Paper craft versions of each Phantasy Arcade cabinet will also be available in our shop.
• An exhibition soundtrack of original chiptunes music will be available online.
