The
people behind Creep LA are actually doing something and they've always
managed to get under my skin and give me nightmares, but it's an
extremely short-run and way different experience.
INSIDE, a socially-distant bite-sized Halloween treat. Quarantined households (up to 5 max) are invited to a guided outdoor ghost tour. Guests will creep around an iconic haunted LA property for a quick night of spooky stories and striking visuals. Ghostly poetry chronicles this mansion’s dark history as guests get a glimpse INSIDE decades of horrific Halloween nights at home.
INSIDE will pop-up for 3 nights in October during Halloween Week (29th - 31st) Reservations are extremely limited and sure to sell out.
Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience is taking place in October. It"ll cost you $59 per car and is located somewhere in downtown LA. It's got all the marking of Netflix, so it's as an official haunt for the show.

What'll happen? It looks like you'll cruise in your car around Hawkins and probably the Upside Down at some point I'll while being scared by monsters from the show. It sounds great for fans of the show.
You will drive down a creepy stretch of road featuring some of the sets and scenic environments you've come to love at the hayride, followed by a haunted show featuring an original multimedia story displayed on a 40 foot screen, as well as horrifying sets and live characters from Midnight Falls!

Throughout the month of October, celebrate Halloween at Descanso, a pumpkin-filled extravaganza that invites guests to safely wind their way through socially-distanced, pumpkin-themed displays in the most popular sections of Descanso Gardens.
Children 14 and under are invited to wear their costumes – and masks – as they explore and enjoy autumn in the Gardens. The Kitchen at Descanso will have a variety of warm, fall-inspired drinks and soups available, along with such seasonal favorites as caramel corn and churros.

Knott's Taste of Fall-O-Ween will take place Fridays through Sundays plus select added Thursdays, September 25 - November 1. The only way to experience Knott's Taste of Fall-O-Ween is with a tasting card purchased in advance at knotts.com (a tasting card is required for event entry). Event hours will be Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm to 9pm and Sundays from 12pm to 8pm.
Regular tasting cards (ages 12+) are priced at $35 (plus tax) and will include five food tastings and Junior tasting cards (ages 3-11) are $20 (plus tax)

The seasonal Spider Pavilion at the Natural History Museum (NHM) will open to the public for limited days and hours from October 25 through November 29, 2020, with previews for members and invited community partners beginning October 22. The Spider Pavilion features several hundred orbweaver spiders in an outdoor enclosure filled with plants, natural light, and spacious pathways that allow visitors to safely connect with nature in the heart of L.A.

Multi-sensory live action event kicks off with Blood Quantum on Thursday the 29th, with Host following on Friday the 30th and The Mortuary Collection running on the 31st. Each experience will run twice nightly at 7pm and 10pm with tickets costing $50 per car or $75 for a VIP experience.
- Blood Quantum — The dead are coming back to life, but in the isolated Mi’gmaq reserve of Red Crow, the indigenous inhabitants are immune to the zombie plague. Traylor (Michael Greyeyes, True Detective), the tribal sheriff, must protect his son’s pregnant girlfriend, apocalyptic refugees and people of the reservation from hordes of walking white corpses.
- Host — Six friends get together during lockdown for their weekly zoom call and instead of a quiz, Hayley (Hayley Bishop, Dawn of the Deaf) has arranged for a Medium to conduct a virtual séance. But a demonic presence has crossed over, threatening to pick them off one by one.
- The Mortuary Collection — A young drifter applies for a job at the local mortuary and meets an eccentric mortician (Clancy Brown, The Shawshank Redemption) who chronicles the strange history of the town through a series of twisted tales, each more terrifying than the last.
