Atomicrops is an action-packed roguelike farming simulator in which you must cultivate and defend the last farm in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Armed with a hoe, watering pail, and fully automatic weapon, you’ll grow ultra-GMO crops to feed your town and make a hefty profit, guard your land from mutant pests and bandits, and court and wed townsfolk to fight and farm by your side.
I feel like a noob, but I don't seem to be able to grasp what to do after level one. I'm just not good with farming potatoes in the apocalypse, which is a skill we all might need very soon.
Polygon seems to like it.
Panzer Paladin is suppose to be out this Summer on Switch and Steam. It's old school platforming with the ability to enter and leave a mech suit. It looks like a lost game from the 90's. It's high on my wishlist on Steam.
Here's the thing though. Every Tribute game is fun at first, but then it become monotonousness. Here's hoping it has a linear story and not and endless mission run like all their other games. They all have a great look, but when it comes to gameplay it can be very hard or quickly devolve into being repetitive.
Easy to mix up is Yacht Club Games-makers of Shovel Knight- upcoming Cyber Shadow that looks like it came from the early 90's too. You would think Yacht Club would be making Panzer Paladin, with all the Knight themes, but no. They switched to a killer looking ninja game. I'd give anything they've made a try.
Animal Crossing Island Life Charms [PREORDER]
For the Animal Crossing lover in your life.
If a horror fan and a comic book lover I'd give a chance to Count Crowley: Reluctant Midnight Monster Hunter. It's the story of a small town news reported busted down for drinking into the role of scary movie host like Elvira. Oh and then she finds out monsters are real. It's only 4 issues so far and bound to be a TV show in a few years.
Another bit of horror news, Event Horizon is coming to Blu-ray via Scream Factory. It's the story of a a spaceship that goes to Hell, comes back and wants to go back to Hell. Too bad some people try and rescue the ship and see what happened when it got lost.
Now, there's suppose to be a special director's cut of the film that may be lost with the lovely title "Blood Orgy Edition", but Scream Factory doesn't no where it is. If anyine does they want to know to finally share it with the people.
