Criterion is going all out with Godzilla for their 1000th spine. Yup, Godzilla and 14 more films starring the atomic powered T-Rex will be coming out this October 29th via Criterion in a special edition.
GODZILLA The Shōwa Era-Films, 1954-1975 looks like an amazing collection for any kaiju loving fan of the big green monster. All the art for each cover is just amazing and looks like it comes from comic book artist. The only negative I have is no cover was given to James Stokoe. I went through all the covers waiting to see his work, but alas...maybe he'll get to do one for one of Godzilla's later destructive romps.
