Okay, so we have a lot this time around.
-Alamo Drafthouse is months away from opening in downtown LA, no exact date yet, but I've seen their social media promising it and jobs for the place going up on Indeed.
-THX Ultimate Cinema is a new special format for seeing films from the same company that use to make your ears explode before movies started by testing the sound. It's like Dolby or IMAX and we're getting one to try at the Regency Westwood Village Theater with no clear opening date, it says Spring/Summer 2019. It's also the first one, so I guess we're guinea pigs to see if it works. Why is this better than a regular theater? It's using dual laser projection in 4Kand is suppose to have better sound than Dolby Cinema. It's always nice to try a new format at least once. I mean we hate 4DX, but we gave it a shot.
