The streets of Chinatown were filled with people from all over LA to check out the more-than-a-hundred-year-old parade. As kids threw poppers at the ground and adults shot confetti into the air, it was another amazing celebration of The Lunar New Year!
Festivities didn't stop as the parade ended as everyone went out to celebrate in Chinatown Plaza with live music and stage acts or they filled the restaurants nearby.
Both our current Sheriff and Chief of Police were in the parade, it was kind of hard to see them as the new heads of law enforcement for the city as both got their jobs fairly recently and have yet to be in many of their own scandals.
