Spectrum Sucks, Why Is Channel 1 On?

We have no problem with their internet, which has been pretty reliable in the TTDILA offices, but their cable boxes are pretty worthless. The latest disgrace is that if you turn off your Spectrum cable box it"ll automatically go to their new local Spectrum Channel 1 when powered back on. It's the little things and it just irks us.

Don't fret!  You can change it.

You go to do the following steps we found on Spectrum's official site.

To change your power-on channel

1. On your remote, press Menu.
2. Go to Settings.
3. On the bottom menu go right or left until you find Display.
4. On Display go to Power On Channel.
5. Highlight a particular channel or Last Channel (last viewed) and press the Select/ok button.
