Wow, we started the year with Dragon Ball and Modest Heroes and next month it's I Want To Eat Your Pancreas and in March we get MADE IN ABYSS: Journey’s Dawn. So, every month this year might have anime in theaters? That's pretty great for Otaku.
MADE IN ABYSS: Journey’s Dawn is about a hole in the ground that just happens to a lead to another world or different sort of land? It's also where our lead's, a little girl, mother is and she wants to find her and she'll have help with a friend whose kind of a robot boy. If it sounds very cute, you'd be horrifically wrong. Sort of like the game Downwell, it goes deeper and deeper and stranger and stranger. The world the anime goes to is beautiful and deadly and at sometimes really messed up, but that might not be till' the second movie.
The premiere for LA is gonna be March 15th and then the public in the US will be able catch the film subbed March 20 and dubbed on the 25th in select theaters through Fathom events. Tickets don't go on sale until after Valentine's Day on Feb 15.
