Yes, you can go to The Game Awards here in LA. The award show has been gaining steam over the years and now showcases a number of reveal trailers. Supposedly, more than 10 new game reveals will take place while awards are given out to a select few from a game council  who chooses wins.

Yuletide Cinemaland at Heritage Square is a festive holiday celebration in a Charles Dickens style town square that combines the nostalgia of classic holiday movies outdoors with Christmas carolers, delicious food, hot chocolate, mulled wine, craft beer, and more!  Explore picturesque Victorian-era homes dressed for the holidays, join piano sing-alongs in the Perry Mansion ballroom and experience the Instagram-worthy Holiday Light Tunnel.

Each event features 2 holiday movie screenings outdoors (6pm and 8pm) with favorites like ELF, IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE and THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS right in the middle of the historic town square at Heritage Square. It’s a ho-ho-ho and and belly full of fun brought to you by the producers of Street Food Cinema.

Enjoy a weekend of indie artists and indie comics. We went to the event last year and were delighted for all the art and strange comics we could get. It's perfect for meeting the indie comics community and getting last minute gift for the holidays, thought technically, Hanukkah would have already started. Oh, and it's free entry.

More than 30 bars and restaurants across Santa Monica come together to offer food and drink specials to those with SMPC wristbands.
The cost for guests to participate is $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

The crawl features four routes spanning the entire city including the Santa Monica Pier, Main Street, Promenade and Wilshire Blvd. In celebration of the 10th annual SMPC, attendees will receive a complimentary beer and commemorative chalice courtesy of Stella Artois. Pub crawl participants are encouraged to dress in Santa/Holiday attire, so the streets of Santa Monica are filled with merry and good cheer.
