media artist Refik Anadol to celebrate our history and explore our
future. Using Google’s machine-intelligence tools, Anadol is applying

"The 1970’s brought a rush of new genres to American
cinemas. In 1973, Bruce Lee’s ENTER THE DRAGON, a Hong Kong-US
co-production, introduced the martial arts genre to a US audience hungry
for amazing action, real stunts, incredible set pieces. Martial arts
master and incredibly charismatic Bruce Lee was the ambassador. May we
have such ambassadors bring such cinematic gifts in our own time."

"How do you explain SHOGUN ASSASSIN? It’s a bloody
action-packed Samurai exploitation picture (comprised of the first two
Lone Wolf and Cub movies directed by the amazing, under-sung Kenji
Misumi in Japan) where a master Samurai Father tricks out his baby son’s
baby carriage with all sorts of weapons and they travel across the
Japanese countryside killing scores of evildoers in ever new and
inventive ways."
