Slice Dump

Remember us writing a little bit about the upcoming horror movie Slice. Slice, an upcoming A24 pic that stars Chance the Rapper, Zazie Beetz (Domino from Deadpool 2) and Paul Scheer (funny, bald comedian). And remember, how we thought it might be a bag of hot garbage based on the trailer. Well, another bad confirmation of how bad A24's horror pic is going to be is the utterly strange premiere around the country. Yeah, so, Slice is now premiering next Monday, Sept 10th at multiple theaters. It's doing a streamed Q&A after the film.

Why is this strange? Well, no date for the movie coming out has been perplexing movie sites for some time. And now, out of nowhere we have the premiere with no info on any other dates the movie will be in theaters. We think this is a fast punch n' play by A24. Get it out with some hype with the premiere screenings then get it into theaters or up on streaming as fast as they can while it still has some social media behind it.

More than likely it's because it's a turd. You usually don't promote a film this way, unless there's something wrong.
