The Museum of Selfies: Take A Look At Yourself
Have you ever taken a good look long at yourself and said, "More, I need more!" Selfies, that is. The Museum of Selfies opened up last Sunday, April 1st and is in a easy to reach part of Glendale. We at TTDILA got to go through on an early preview and there are some definite spots you'll want to shove your camera phone in front of.
We were led around by co-creator/co-owner Tommy Honton. You could tell Tommy had a real love for his work as he took us through the history of selfies and some statistics on smiles. Hey Moscow, try and turn that frown upside down. Unlike other "museums" there is a section that does go through the history of us getting to taking selfies on are smart phones.
Still, there are many places to take selfies and what better way then showing you with the selfies in this post. You could be high in the sky in LA, be a reflection in a mirror, in a bizzare backdrop room of black and white and many more fun photos.
Try out the world's longest selfie stick, soon to be confirmed by Guinness World Records. And you can even borrow a smaller scale selfie stick if you need it.
We spent well into an hour and more there. For a trip on the weekend or after work it seems like a fun must. Try it out and share the experience on social media so your friends can be jealous.
