We keep coming back again and again. LA has some hidden gems and one that let's us love sci-fi is the Time Travel Mart. The one on Sunset, this time. There's a sister Time Travel Mart in Mar Vista, the first one that opened up was in Echo Park.

So the easy on the ears Echo Park Time Travel Mart has been serving the community as a place not only to buy time travel nick-knacks for your desk for years, it's also a front for teaching kids to write. The non-profit
826LA uses the backs of the stores to teach kids how to write stories and is so beloved there's a wait list to get in.
