Gintama is coming out in theaters later this month via Azoland Pictures.
So what's Gintama? Gintama is a live action Japanese film based on a long running gag manga and anime of the same name. It follows the title character, the white-haired samurai Gintoki Sakata and his two teenage friends, the super strong red-haired Kagura and a pair of glasses...I mean Shinpachi Shimura. They work together at Gin's Odd Jobs, doing exactly what their job is titled. All taking place in feudal Japan that's been influenced by technology from aliens.
Trust us by telling you it's known for its over-the top gag and gross-out humor with pieces of epic fights and drama. It's still mostly known for its stupid sense of humor.
So for a few nights January 20, 21 and 24, you can see the live action version in a theater near you.
Check here for all the spots it's playing and to grab tickets.
*There is suppose to be some sort of giveaway item for the screenings, but we can't seem to access it on the site or it's just not working as of writing this.
