As reported by the Daily News, one of Thursday's special showings of Star Wars The Last Jedi was ruined by a lack of audio. Yes, attendees on Twitter say the film was without sound for 10-20 minutes. AMC wouldn't restart the film as it would break their schedule, but did try and compensate fans by getting them into other screenings that night, Friday night or just giving them a refund.
Things can go wrong, but many wonder why AMC didn't just restart the film and skip the trailers for the next showing, thus keeping to schedule.
