The Dark Side Bar We Have Another Star Wars Bar

You now have the option of two unofficial Star Wars bars to enjoy in the LA area. The first is the Scum & Villainy Cantina, now permanent in Hollywood. Now we have newcomer The Dark Side Bar.

And as you may have guessed it, it's skewed more to the dark side of the force. It's a Sith-themed Star Wars bar, so, don't expect a round of applause if you're a rebel. Though, they do encourage Star Wars cosplay.

And unlike the Cantina, this bar will be in LA for a limited time, so maybe plan for it after or before seeing the newest Star Wars film.

Here's some details from their site:

"You never know what’ll happen—from an intergalactic burlesque show featuring performers hailing from planets you didn't fathom existed and themed dance and DJ nights to space trivia and alien speed dating to games of chance and imbibing with far-out beings. Nuff said. Experience comes with two signature custom cocktails. Additional potables and edibles will be available for purchase on-site for $16. The more you drink, the darker things get. Costumes are encouraged but not required."

Also changing it up are secret missions you can perform in the bar? 

"Upon arrival to the Dark Side Bar, players are given a special tradable “item” and an amount of currency.

Upon the order of their first drink, they get a secret mission. These missions will be guided by hosts. Thieves, smugglers and swindlers will try to derail you but if you’re dedicated you may just be the hero of the Galaxy!

Tickets for these immersive events are $53 and include two signature cocktails or cocktails of your choice, a two hour experience and 90 minutes of game play. Customers for this experience will be expected and asked to promptly vacate."
