Unless you plan on going into the mountains and only when the conditions are right can you expect snow near LA. Until now, we think. Snow Day LA is a weekend only wonderland of snow activities.

From what we've gleamed from the site you can go skating, tubing and have a few photo ops. They're really selling a bar area too for the adults.

If you want some snow like activities, but don't want to drive that far they seems like a winter weekend try.
