Fifteen years of those two and their whole galaxy of games on PlayStations, starting with the PS2 was celebrated with bolt cookies and rice krispy treats. Fans could see a collection of early sketches of an early Ratchet & Clank before they were finalized for the game and other art over the years. Some special pieces were made from the roster of the Nucleus' go-to artists with a nice, almost cereal box type looking one from Dave Perillo.

You could add a puff to the sheep board, an image or a shout-out to a paper cut-out sheep from the game series. I believe the Sheepinator, would turn foes into helpless puffballs from the games. Or you might get something signed from the special guests in attendance, including CEO of Insomniac, Ted Price.
"Well, it's very humbling. I think the excitement surrounding the franchise and the interest from our fans from seeing the show, that shows off the origins of the series is gratifying for all of us at Insomniac," is what Ted told me when we started chatting.
When Ted arrived, I heard his name called out as he started meeting everyone at the reception, shaking hands with a big grin on his face.

Back to the celebration and when talking about Ratchet & Clank, you've got to ask your favorite weapon, that's what the games known for, that and the humor and cartoony design. I asked Ted, who replied, "The Bouncer has always been my favorite. That's mostly because, when we designed it, no one thought it would really work or be any fun. But, as soon as we tried it out, it was incredibly fun." This is a gun that shoots balls and as you upgrade it splits the ammo into more and more balls. Ted continued, "What's really fun is the inherent randomness of the bounces... and the sound...it makes a very satisfying clank when it hits things."
After that I told Ted of some of my favorite weapons as he shifted back into the party thanking everyone from Insomiac and the fans and that was only the start of the night. Fans, waiting outside started coming in to celebrate the series, even celebrating Captain Qwark.
Ted, summed up the show with his words to me, "It is so rewarding from all of us at Insomniac to see the love of the fans for Ratchet and Clank."
