Free tickets for AFI FEST 2017 presented by Audi will be available beginning on Wednesday, November 1.
This year's selection once again has some amazing films including: The Disaster Artist, showing us all how Tommy Wiseau's The Room was made starring James Franco. Mrs Hyde, out of of France is a retelling of the story in a modern sending, but this time about a female teacher. The Endless has a sci-fi concept to it about two brothers going back to their cult, but having two separate views of what happened. AVA looks like pure French art film; a girl will be going blind soon so she does the most rational thing of finding her sexuality by stealing a dog...
Some titles many fans have been looking forward to will be there including a showing of Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water, a love story based around the creature from the black lagoon. Not specifically that creature, because Universal wouldn't let him do it.We also get the anime Mary and the Witch's Flower, that looks like Ghibli, but isn't.
