Coming this late October with just about the same fanfare as That's You! on the PS4 are two more PlayLink games played by smartphone/tablet. Knowledge is Power is a brand new trivia game that features 4-6 friends getting in on in array of questions with silly looking avatars. The screenshots make it look like the best damn trivia game to come out in years.
As of writing this, there is no official trailer of the game itself, which is kind of lame. I want to see how much fun it'll be to beat all my friends and dream my dreams of them losing so poorly they storm out and leave my living room.
It drops October 24 for $19.99 on PSN
That same day and for the same price a crime adventure game with up to five friends allows you to investigate cases in Hidden Agenda, which does have a trailer...son of a...
The game has you figuring out cases and changing a branching story in the pursuit of the "Trapper" serial killer. Coming from the same people behind Until Dawn, Supermassive Games, it should be a lot of fun. Especially, if some friends want it to go wrong. Or if they want it to go right and actually solve some murders.
I'm not sure why these two aren't being promoted a lot more. They seem like some novel new couch co-op fun for friends at a part or just to get-together.
In any case, I'll be beating my friends at trivia this Halloween and Christmas.
