Metro Art Presents: Sci-Fi at Union Station "Blade Runner"
Wed, April 5, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Union Station Los Angeles
TCM Classic Film Festival
April 6-9
Multiple Hollywood Theaters
Individual tickets are $20 for most screenings and events. Individual tickets to the Official Closing Night presentation (TBD), if available, will be priced at $30. Students with valid student ID will receive a 50% discount off all individual tickets.
You may jest and dress up to see knights fight, drink a large bounty of beer, sit with your kids and watch a live show-there's 13 stages, buy specialty goods for things to put up in the office or den, test your skills at throwing an axe...there's a lot to do at the Ren Faire.
Like a small village or theme park you can encompass a whole day there, we did last year and we're just as surprised as you as how fun it can be.

Following
the theme of their recent “Film Noir at Union Station” series, this
quintessential neo-noir science fiction classic portrays a dystopian Los
Angeles in which “Blade Runners” are assigned to assassinate illegal
androids known as replicants. Starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young and Edward James Olmos.

The Indian Film Festival is now taking place at LA Live? Times are a changing and there seemingly strange format change to dramas has me less than thrilled about the line-up. I want Indian crazy robots and bugs singing.

This instant pile of garbage is having a special showing with the director? Just because someone is in the Fast and Furious franchise, doesn't mean they they can make anything out of it. It's going to be an instant How Did This Get Made podcast with so many questions on just how the Hell a sex-change assassin movie with no class came out. From the same company that gave us the Power Ranger movie?
*Michelle Rodriguez Picked Her Own Prosthetic Penis and Went on Tinder During 'The Assignment'
*Discussion following with director Walter Hill
Director Walter Hill gives the revenge film a modern neo-noir twist with this electrifying thriller. Hitman Frank Kitchen (Michelle Rodriguez) is given a lethal assignment, but after being double-crossed, discovers he’s no longer the man he was. Having been surgically altered, Frank now has the body of a woman. Seeking vengeance, he heads for a showdown with his assailant (Sigourney Weaver), a brilliant surgeon with a chilling agenda of her own.
