(October 3, Los Angeles) Now entering its fifth consecutive year, SpectreVision's Daniel
Noah, Josh C. Waller and Elijah Wood, have again teamed with Cinefamily to announce
SpectreFest 2016, a finely crafted and curated selection of sneak peeks and film premieres,
presenting an exploration of the uncanny in art and cinema. The happenings will include a
varied range of special events, rare repertory programs, music, and other forms of media that
exemplify the aesthetic spirit of the festival.!
! This year’s chosen films include Arrival, The Bad Batch, A Monster Calls, and
Whispering Star, among many others. Events are hosted by the SpectreVision founders, and
will feature appearances by stars and filmmakers, each followed by a reception. Confirmed
guests to date include Ana Lily Aminpour, Joe Dante, Roger Corman, Bill Hader, Jason Ritter,
Claudia O’Doherty, Elijah Wood, J.A. Bayona, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, and Babak Anvari,
among many others.!
