Go see Klown Forever, first see Klown, but then see Klown Forever. This incredibly dirty masterpiece of messed-up antics comes courtesy of Drafthouse and two Danish comedians, one of which was in Game of Thrones for a good few seconds last season and hey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is in there too. These two morons are headed to LA and LA will deal with them just as well as Europe.
I haven't seen a comedy in recent years that blends realism with the absurdity of this. Where so many of our comedies are absurd from the get go this film has its feet firmly based in reality. It makes it so much better when best friends Frank (in the hat) and Casper f up. And they f up all the time.
It's on Video On Demand and in theaters starting today, September 2.
