Woah, now! The Downtown Independent didn't get this film? This Friday you'll be able to see Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, the totally CGI prequel to the next Final Fantasy game. Does it have any hope of being any good? No. This remains the company that didn't learn from its lesson, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.
Sure, the animation looks a lot better, I mean a whole lot better. I'll praise it right now for what looks to be some amazing fights. And its got voice talent...and this time it happens in a more Final Fantasy-esque style, yeah, but it's gonna be bad.
Whatever the writing is it's still based on a Japanese script.
Why lie though? We still want to see it for the mess of action and poor wrting it'll be.
