We're surprised to announce the arrival of AkibaFest in
Little Tokyo this coming October. From Aniplex comes a two day anime convention
in October, the 15th and 16th in the heart of LA's Japanese culture. Though no venues have been mentioned yet the
press release has stated that, "We’re going to transform Little Tokyo into
the closest thing to ‘Akiba’ as possible. If we can’t bring you to Akihabara,
we’re going to bring Akihabara to you,” said John Inada, from Aniplex of
America.
More details are going to go up on the AkibaFest website later this July. We'll keep you updated too.
Digimon Adventure tri.

So if you grew up with the series you can now take your kids to go see it or just see what the DigiDestened have been up to.
Synopsis:
It's been six years since the summer adventure when Tai (now in high school) and the rest of the DigiDestined crossed over to the Digital World and nearly three years since frenzied final battles between warring factions.
