Uncharted 4 A Thief's End Quick Review Doom Sucks
We're not a fan of the Uncharted series, it started with the premise of being a reality show treasure hunter, which to us sounded way to cliche. Now it's become it's own franchise and, darn it, we've fallen for you Nathan Drake.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, with so many cut-scenes, is like experiencing your own action movie. You'll be jumping and swinging of the sides of cliffs and mountains in beautiful venues all the way to a pirate island. The voice-acting and story carry you through an adventure that I don't want to ruin by giving much info.
Oh, and you kill people, you kill people so much it's comical. The story has you afraid of a powerful drug-lord, but you'retaken on a mercenary army? Oh, it's ridiculous, but nothing having to do with magic or science fiction, it's all "movie logic" on what can be accomplished.
Naughty Dog downright crams beautiful locations that would give Indiana Jones boners with heartfelt moments that make you care about Nathan Drake, his brother, his girlfriend and his cliche old man con man friend.
Give that old man voice actor an award for sounding so old and angry. Same goes for the main villain.
And through the whole thing you have the charming Nathan Drake talking to his friends on how all crazy it is, with bad guys you'll love to hate and action scenes that would have never worked on the big screen.
Oh, and Doom sucks. We were bored with tit after playing the campaign for an hour. You think punching demons after shotgunning them in the face would be more fun, but ehh.
