Evangelion Popcorn Bucket & Evangelion 3.33: You Can {Not} Redo

Universal Studios has some much different rides at its Japan location. The Japanese version of Universal Studios has an Evangelion themed section along with one for Attack on Titan and Resident Evil. What they also have is a popcorn bucket of Eva Unit 01 that lights up.  Really, only the head of Unit 01 holds your popcorn. Bonus for a LCL Entry Plug Bottle to carry water and soda in.

On EVA news, the long...so very long wait for the dubbed Evangelion 3.33: You Can {Not} Redo comes out next month Feb 2. Now this has been in a Hell of it's own as Funimation had to wait for the Japanese company behind it, Khara, to give them the best subtitles possible. TTDILA covered the premiere of the film back in early 2014. The dub supposedly was shown at the NYCC last year, so roughly it's taken two years since the film was shown to US audiences. The film originally came out in 2012, yessh!

Oh, and worry as the fourth installment has been in production Hell with no official release date. Hideaki Anno creator and the main guy behind the films committed to the new Japanese version of  Godzilla film, "Godzilla Resurgence," which is scheduled to be released on July 29, 2016 in Japan. That and his battles with depression mean we may not see the movie until he commits suicide and someone takes over the franchise for him.
