Hey did you work on The Iron Giant? Did the door hit you on your ass on the way out when the WB Feature Animation Division died while making it? If so, Warner Bros didn't keep any record of you working on it and is now asking for help to make a quick buck on the film you worked your ass off on, but at the time when it came out couldn't care less about.
The Iron Giant is coming to Blu-ray and needs special features, so that means content that doesn't already exist, because no one cared at the time it was made.
With the same grace as that e-mail that went out to all the Power Rangers for their big gathering episode in the US they've let out the call for anyway who has some archival footage. Or rather documentarian Anthony Giacchino has. He told Cartoon Brew:
Did you work on The Iron Giant? Do you have a good story to
tell or perhaps photos/videos to share about your time on the film?
Please help us document the true and definitive story of how this
seminal animated feature was made. Email: [email protected]
I'm going to assume Warner Bros just lost that information due to the poor management of that division of the time or documentarian Anthony Giacchino does not have an intern to call people.
