LA's Summer Film Screenings 2015

Here's your new list of all the places to catch films outside in LA and other places during the Summer. Will you pay more and lounge at a pool or just take it easy on a lawn surrounded by live music and picnic baskets.

Tickets are $12 in advance, and a limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $14 (cash or credit card). "Fashionably Late" tickets will be available online for $20, which is a premium reserved and desirable area of the venue.


They bill themselves as the premiere outdoor film screening experience with music and food trucks. They travel a wide expanse of the LA area, so see what's playing in area you might like to go.You'll be out on lawns, so bring a blanket to lay on as you watch films on a blown up screen. That's right the screen could be used as a floatation device. Special events include "Christmas in July" celebrated on July 25 with, uggh, "Love Actually," and that night will include Santas with Christmas decorations.

Over fifty events in eleven locations with the similar format of live music and food trucks. Don't call it a copycat, it came out the same year as EatSeeHear, it's best to say they're at a friendly competition, where we the viewers win. Same premise of viewing films outside. For a little bonus for those with dogs, your pet is welcome, but just check the venue before heading over with your pooch.

Indoor classics, many already sold out, dang. High price for seeing thme in classic LA venues, not normally used year round.

Adults are $75 and children ages 4- 12 $45; bottomless Bellinis and mimosas are $30.


Every other Tuesday enjoy classics by the pool. Special events include Champagne and oyster night, and a Father's Day Grillata. It's all high style a delish food.

Enjoy cinema at a local college on Thursday nights; the Oviatt Library Lawn is quite nice to gaze up and look at the stars... on the big screen. Oh, CSUN, why did you even build a new playhouse?
