It takes Jesse Moynihan little time to reference the work of Alejandro Jodorowsky in the latest episode of Adventure Time "You Forgot Your Floaties." The transmutation machine was suppose to trans-mutate Magical Man into the new Glob, that would have been bad. The look of the machine and some of the ideas behind it are taken from The Holy Mountain. Alejandro Jodorowsky's The Holy Mountain is a truly strange film in no way suitable for a young audience. In fact, it's hard to share images of it online because of all the nudity in it. The transmutation machine in the film actually converts poop into gold, no, that's it's real function.
I only recommend watching the film when your in high school or older as it's a mash up of ideas making fun of corporate culture, religion and society at large with a lot of metaphysical ideas. And Jesus or an allegory of Jesus is in it. Let's hope it can become part of CN's Flicks for the weekend, it would really change up them showing the worst films for children.
