The Simpsons Springfield Opened Up At Universal

Before the Paul Walker death parade that is Fast and Furious Supercharged becomes part of the Universal Tour ride later in June you have to get acquainted with Springfield, USA. The Simpsons Ride now has it's own land around it with plenty of eateries like Moe's Tavern and Krusty Burger to get juicy morsels and tasty drinks. Let me just write that again. You can know get the fictional food of one of your favorite cartoon series in real life. As Homer would say, "Auggghhh," out of hunger love. We're close to having "good as Japan theme parks" when it comes to the treats they serve over here. Now let's forget the suicide near the Minion ride and hear about the opening event or see it.

That official opening day video was amazing, I only wish they would do that show every day or something on par with that. They even had a giant over-sized novelty lever.

The festivities occurred Tuesday, when some of the cast  showed up, sad because they all live and work here, those who did show should get button including Nancy Cartwright, the voice of “Bart,” (she showed off that ugly statue last week) Yeardley Smith, the voice of “Lisa” and Joe Mantegna, the voice of “Fat Tony,”. Al Jean, Executive Producer of The Simpsons was also in attendance, but not creator Matt Groening. It was joked he was in a Shrek costume watching the festivities from afar.

We'll have to go over more details after TTDILA visits the park, but here are the facts on the food.
