Sea Dragon Brothers: Tatsunoko Pro Tribute Art Show May 30

Tatsunoko will be going big at Q2 at the end of the month. I have to say it's not the strongest choice for anime fans as most might not know the company unless there die hards of a certain series or two. They company does have some big titles with Speed Racer, Gatchaman and Super Dimension Fortress Macross. I happened to know them most recently from one of my favorite animes, Sket Dance, about a trio of teens who help people and get into silly situations, that and  Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

It was founded in October 1962 by anime pioneer Tatsuo Yoshida along with his brothers Kenji and Toyoharu (or by the pen name "Ippei Kuri").The studio's name has a double meaning in Japanese of "Tatsu's child" (Tatsu being a nickname for Tatsuo) and "sea dragon", which was the inspiration for its seahorse corporate logo. From comedy to science-fiction, Tatsunoko's amazing list of productions spans multiple genres.
