It what will be a beautiful display, 124 spotlights will mark the path of the LA Marathon this Friday the 13th. The Marathon doesn't take place at night and doesn't even take place the next day. As reported to you in the weekly what to do, it will be taking place Sunday, March 15. There's be no reason given why there's a day between when the lights go up; so ponder on why they planned it for Friday night, instead of Saturday.
Do enjoy a lit up path that stretches across LA from 8:40 pm until 10:15pm. You might want to camp out for a view with friends in the surrounding mountains or try and find a friend with a view of the city.
