Give it up for Johnnie JungleGuts, he's the dude behind all those Pokemon events in the city, next week we have Club of Rage: A Streets of Rage II Chiptune Dance Party thanks to him. It's late, it's based on a video game from the 90's and damn it's going to be fun.

Originally released on the Sega Genesis, Streets of Rage II featured a groundbreaking 16-bit soundtrack by visionary producers Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima that was influenced by (and influenced) the house, hardcore techno and breakbeat music popular in clubs around '92.

After we listen to this 50 minute masterpiece things will devolve into more video game inspired chiptune and 8bit dance tracks from artists like Nobuo Uematsu, Masato Nakamura, Anamanaguchi and Britney Spears!
