-WayForward is making another Adventure Time game, Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom . You'd think after the outcry and mess that was Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! they'd give another a developer a try. Nope, they did go with a new publisher, Little Orbit. The game will be out on Steam, 3DS , PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 for a November release.
The new title is once again reminiscent of older video games in a classic top down action adventure. You'll play as Finn and Jake exploring the Nameless Kingdom meeting brand new characters and figuring out secrets.
Everything sounds good written down, implementation matters. After the game that should go nameless with dungeon in the title, which was so bad my friends pleaded with me to stop playing it, you have to step back and question what WayForward is doing. Is it making fun games or titles just based on old-school games without any modern mechanics that make games better than they were.
